Supported patent filings

* Power of Attorney forms and Assignments must be legalized via the Egyptian consulate in your home country. The consulate will provide instructions on the procedure that is required; note that costs will be incurred for this. Power of Attorney forms and Assignments should be filed at the Egyptian Patent Office within four months from the filing date in Egypt.

** The Arabic translation can be submitted within six months from the application filing date. However, the Arabic translation of the title and abstract, and the English specification or translation, must be submitted at filing.

• Extract from the Commercial Registry or Certificate of Incorporation duly legalized up to the Egyptian consulate should be filed at the Egyptian Patent Office within four months from the filing date in Egypt.
