Trados language technology
Building the next generation of software for seamless, tech-enabled translation processes.
At RWS, hundreds of years of collective experience come together with fresh minds to develop world-leading software products.
A multinational product team
As a member of our product team, you’ll help shape the future of our domain-leading software – which we build in multiple countries across Europe, with colleagues in the UK, Romania, Italy, Ireland, the Czech Republic, Belgium and more. Flexible working hours and remote working options have long been our norm, and we strive to ensure the ideal blend of freedom and responsibility. Our wide-ranging technologies, practices and environments provide a variety of career paths for you to explore.
Best-in-class translation products
For any translator and any business carrying out translation or localization projects – be it a major mobile phone company, a pharmaceutical leader, a visionary car manufacturer, a government or one of the tens of thousands of companies providing translation services – Trados is the go-to for translation and localization software. From traditional products such as our industry-leading desktop tool for freelancers, Trados Studio, or enterprise-class applications such as WorldServer, we’ve been at the forefront of translation technology for over 25 years.
Cloud-first technology and methods
For the past few years much of our focus has been on building RWS Language Cloud, the platform that hosts our set of cloud-native applications. The result is a modern, microservices-built, container-based system running on AWS, with a multi-tenant architecture, and a full CI/CD development method, processing hundreds of updates a day through multiple stages all the way to production. We work in a polyglot environment – written mostly in Java and .NET, with a bit of C++ thrown in for some traditional applications – and use various web technologies such as React and Redux, with a sprinkle of Node.js.
